Why Haneda Is Better
Just 14km from central Tokyo vs 60km for Narita. Transport takes 15–30 min and costs a fraction of Narita options. If you can choose between airports, Haneda wins.
Tokyo Monorail (Easiest)
¥500 on IC card to Hamamatsucho. 14 min. Every 5 min. Departs directly inside the terminal. Hamamatsucho connects to JR Yamanote Line for all major stations.
Keikyu Line (Cheapest & Most Flexible)
¥300 to Shinagawa. 13 min. Every 7 min. Shinagawa is a major JR hub connecting to Yamanote Line, shinkansen, and most of Tokyo. Best value option. Also runs direct to Asakusa (30 min, ¥460).
Bus
¥900–1,500 to hotels and major areas. Useful for direct hotel service but allow extra time for traffic.
Taxi
~¥6,000–8,000 to central Tokyo. Only makes sense for 3–4 people with heavy luggage late at night.
