Itami (ITM): Domestic Japan flights only. 15km from Osaka. Much more convenient for domestic travel.
From Kansai International (KIX)
Nankai Rapi:t (Best for Central Osaka): ¥1,430 to Namba. 38 min. Every 30 min. Most popular option — goes directly to Dotonbori area.
JR Haruka (JR Pass holders): ¥1,750 to Tennoji, ¥2,850 to Shin-Osaka. 30–50 min. JR Pass fully covered ✓. Also goes direct to Kyoto (75 min).
Bus: ¥1,800–2,000 to hotels. 50–70 min.
From Itami Airport (Domestic)
Limousine Bus (Best): ¥630–900 to Osaka Station, Namba, hotels. 25–40 min. Simplest option from Itami.
Osaka Monorail + transfer: ~¥840, 40 min to Namba. More complicated.
