Narita Airport to Tokyo Guide

Narita Airport to Tokyo Guide

N’EX Narita Express (Best Overall)

¥3,070 to Shinjuku/Shibuya/Tokyo Station. 53 min. Every 30 min. Large luggage space.
Tourist deal: ¥5,000 round trip + 14-day JR Tokyo area trains — excellent value. Buy at the N’EX counter inside the terminal.

Keisei Skyliner

¥2,570 to Ueno or Nippori. 41 min. Every 20–40 min. Slightly cheaper and faster than N’EX if heading to east Tokyo or Akihabara. Take JR from Ueno for onward connections.

Keisei Limited Express (Budget)

¥1,270 to Ueno. 70–80 min. No seat reservations, may be crowded with luggage. The cheapest rail option — ¥1,800 cheaper than Skyliner.

Limousine Bus

¥3,000–3,200. 60–120 min depending on traffic. Useful for direct hotel service. Can be significantly delayed in traffic.

Recommendation

Take the N’EX (buy the tourist combo pass). Quick, comfortable, large luggage space, direct to major stations. Skyliner good if heading to east Tokyo and want to save ¥500.
