Two weeks is enough to experience Bangkok’s temples, Northern Thailand’s culture, and the best beaches. The classic route flows naturally from capital to mountains to coast.

Days 1–3: Bangkok
Follow our Bangkok 3-day itinerary: Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Chatuchak Market, Yaowarat street food, Jim Thompson House, rooftop bar.

Days 4–6: Chiang Mai
Getting there: Fly (1 hour, ฿500–1,500) or overnight train (13 hours, ฿600).
Follow the Chiang Mai itinerary: Old City temples, elephant sanctuary (book in advance), Doi Suthep, cooking class.
Don’t miss: Sunday Walking Street if your timing aligns.

Day 7: Travel to Koh Tao
Fly Bangkok to Koh Samui then ferry to Koh Tao (total ~4 hours). Or overnight bus + ferry from Chiang Mai via Bangkok (overnight).

Days 8–10: Koh Tao
- PADI Open Water course: ฿9,000–12,000 if you want to dive.
- Snorkeling: Shark Bay (whale sharks occasionally seen), Mango Bay.
- Hiking: Koh Tao has excellent viewpoint hikes.
- Day trip to Koh Nang Yuan: The triple-island connected by white sand bar. Most beautiful spot near Koh Tao.

Days 11–12: Koh Phangan
30-minute ferry from Koh Tao.
- If Full Moon Party timing works: Book accommodation 3+ months ahead, budget ฿2,000–4,000/night during party.
- If not Full Moon: Bottle Beach (best quiet beach), Than Sadet waterfall, Haad Yuan.

Days 13–14: Koh Samui / Departure
30-minute ferry from Koh Phangan.
- Day trip to Ang Thong Marine Park (฿1,500–2,000).
- Big Buddha temple.
- Beach time, shopping, departure.
