Best for: Independent exploration, short distances, budget travelers with riding experience
Not for: First-time riders, families, long-distance trips across the island
Tip: Rent for 5+ days to negotiate IDR 50,000/day.

Grab & Gojek

Best for: Point-to-point journeys in south Bali, getting to/from restaurants and bars, when you don’t want to park

Official Taxis

Blue Bird Taxi — most reputable taxi company in Bali. Metered, honest drivers. Flag down on the street or book via the Blue Bird app.
Avoid unmarked taxis that approach you proactively — they often overcharge significantly.

A tourist shuttle bus service connecting Kuta, Seminyak, Ubud, Lovina, Padangbai, Amed, and other areas. IDR 50,000–150,000 per journey. Slow but cheap and no navigation needed.
