Visa required in advance: small number of nationalities — check Indonesia immigration website.
VoA Details
Cost: IDR 500,000 (~$30 USD). Duration: 30 days, extendable once to 60 days. Single entry only.
Process at Ngurah Rai Airport
- Follow signs to immigration — look for VoA/Visa Payment counter before main immigration hall
- Present passport, pay IDR 500,000 (cash preferred)
- Get VoA sticker, proceed to immigration
- Immigration stamps 30 days from entry date
Process takes 30–60 minutes depending on queue.
e-VOA: Skip the Queue
Apply online at molina.imigrasi.go.id before departure. Same cost and duration. Skip the airport queue entirely. Recommended during peak season.
Extending to 60 Days
Apply at Denpasar Immigration Office at least 7 days before expiry. Cost IDR 500,000. Requires passport, photo, accommodation proof. Many guesthouses can arrange this for you.
