Gyeongbokgung Palace

The largest of Seoul’s five palaces. Built 1395, restored after Japanese occupation. Changing of the guard at 10am and 2pm. 3,000 KRW.

Bukhansan National Park

Mountains rising directly behind Seoul. Excellent hiking from 2 hours to a full day. Accessible by subway.
