The Best Overall Window
November–February (Peak Season)
Best weather across mainland Southeast Asia. Thailand’s Andaman coast is sunny and dry. Vietnam north to south is accessible. Cambodia is cool and dry.
Downside: Peak tourist season — higher prices, accommodation fills.
March–April (Shoulder Season)
Still good in Thailand and Cambodia. Slightly fewer tourists than November–February.
May–October (Monsoon)
Rain season across most of the region — but not uniformly bad. Gulf of Thailand (Koh Samui) is at its driest. Bali mornings are often sunny. 20–40% lower prices, significantly fewer tourists.

Smart Routing by Season
